Wifey and I are heading out to the Pima Air Museum tomorrow (Saturday 11-28-15).

The last time I was there was a few years ago and they were using FRS radios for operations on the grounds. I spent more time listening to the C-130's and A-10's across the street at D-M.

Anyone have anything more current on the museum ops these days? Gonna bring my handy little 325 or 396.

The only thing I heard was the 461.4875 repeater, with a PL of 94.8. They used this for the tram ops and the gate check at opening.

The radios looked like regular Motorola CP style portables, I couldn't get close enough to tell the exact model. No hint of newer TRBO capable radios on any of the docents I saw.
