Anyone know what happened to the FDNY buffing web site thebravest.com? The site has been down since earlier this month. I also haven't seen a notification Tweet from them in weeks.

Even though the website seems to be down, there does seem to be an active Twitter account, with a post from them in November. Maybe you can contact them through Twitter for more info about their website issues.

Tried that without success. They used to Tweet working fires regularly but it appears that's also stopped.

The site is run by two firefighters. One is now retired and mkved out of the nyc area. That seems to have led to issues with keeping things running. I did have a long conversation to see how I could help them. As the provider of the fdny feeds and webmaster of nycfire.net I had suggested to use the feeds here instead of trying to host all new feeds. Haven't heard from them in some time, the other brother just got married.

Feel free to check out nycfire.net. there is a twitter and Facebook account that is linked to the site and automated. The site is what supports the running of the feeds.
