my sd card stoped working got a new one . now when I turn on scanner nothing on scanner no favlist nothing I tried to reprogram like always keep telling me to insert cd

1. Format the card as FAT32

2. Initialize the card using CLEAR USER DATA in Sentinel

3. Write your profile and FLs to the card.

Look for a program called SDFORMATTER. That should be able to do it.

Many of us have taken to using only high quality sd cards, I prefer class 5 cards from SanDisk only, and we typically program two cards. One goes in the scanner and one gets taped to the inside of the battery compartment door in case the first one fails. I'll say since switching to the SanDisk higher end cards I've never had to resort to my backup card.

SanDisk has a lot of options as far as cards go. I typically don't go cheaper than the Ultra cards. Extreme is probably very overkill, the options at the bottom of their line are still likely marginally better than what you get in other brands, much better than cheap generic ones.
