I'm using scancat for programming. In the past I have used it for RS pro96. It has been so long since I used it and now having difficulty on programming a RS pro197. Any tips would be appreciated.

I can help ya. Im using the same radio. What are you wanting to run? HC runs all the way to perry. You want pd, so or fire or all the above? I only run SO on my feed.

Win500. It is the best way to go. Written by DonS, the guy who wrote the firmware for that RS model and for GRE models. Have had a 197 for 9 years and wouldn't use anything else. I had scancrap decades ago, and it screwed up one of my scanners. The CD went in the trash.
