Has anyone else on the west side hearing other stations on Mesa Fire Dispatch? Daytime on weekdays I've been hearing what sounds like a business as well as other distant tones for other departments. The business traffic is close as it over rides Mesa Dispatch when both are transmitting.

When you say west-side, where about?

It is the strongest on the Westside of the 101 between Union Hills and Indian School Rd. When on the eastside of the valley, Scottsdale area, I do not receive the other station just Mesa Dispatch

I'm listening to it right now, 2:40pm Friday afternoon. I'm at 91st and Peoria, and they're not very strong, MFD may be a little stronger.

Edit: on my PRO-2020 with the telescopic whip, they are strong. On my PSR-500 with the stock whip, they're weak and scratchy, and with the 800 whip, they're non-existent.
They're using a PL of 118.8Hz.
I heard mention of a loader, so maybe a construction site somewhere.
My guess is they're using a cheap Chinese radio.

I messaged Mesa FD via Facebook about this, and they replied that they would pass it on to their technical people for investigation.
