The broadcast signal from a TV station in Arlington, Virginia more than 100 miles away continues to disrupt some emergency radio dispatches in Lancaster County, but a fix is on the way.
About 5,800 radios of first responders in coming weeks will be reprogrammed with new frequencies that won't be susceptible to interference from the WFDC tower in Arlington or any another signal, said Michael Weaver, director of Lancaster County-Wide Communications.
