State Police and Regions

What the deal with Troop I and C are now being called Region 2. Not sure about other troops. When a unit calls dispatch instead of saying there unit number to troop I or C, they now are both calling in saying there unit # to region 2 (dispatcher). Just started hearing this.

More and more movement to consolidated dispatching.

It's a manpower issue. When dispatchers are not available the troops will consolidate troops / regions to one central dispatch center.
