Does anyone know the bandplan/ trunk tables for Niagara County, NY 424MHz trunked system?

The PRO-106 does not track the system in P25AUTO.

Unitrunker shows Base 400.0000, LO 03-000, HI 03-4095, spacing 6.25

it shows 4 other base frequencies, but they are in 700, 800 & 900 MHz channels. not sure why it would show that if this is UHF 400. And I don't understand why it shows 03-000, 03-4095. any of the scanners ive worked with don't allow to enter 03-000, 03-4095

any ideas?

Is this system a simulcast system?

Tried a PRO-106, and a PRO-652 with P25 AUTO, and all the frequencies programmed. No luck. Tried it with the flexstep on and the flexstep off. Also tried with a PRO-96 and no luck.

There has to be something I am missing here. And its not like I don't know how to monitor a P25 system... the county I live in has a P25 UHF system, and I provide the live feed and have no problem. But for Niagara County, there is something I am missing.

Safe to say the flexstep should be ON. Which it is.

Only thing I can think of, is maybe, you're receiving multiple sites and the scanner is having a tough time decoding. This is common with scanners when trying to monitor a simulcast system

03 is the band identifier. The second number is multiplied by the offset 6.25 kHz and added to the base frequency to get the channel frequency. In this instance, you can use channels in the range 000 to 4095. Of course they have to be licensed for the frequencies they use.

I was only in the area for a few days. Had no luck.

Tracked the Canada VHF system just fine, and the N-Falls Military Base 380MHz system (everything was encrypt on there though).

But was unable to get the PRO-106 & PRO-652 to track Niagara County system.

Tried with flexstep on and off.

You might temporarily change the system type to P25:Manual.

Then scroll to the bottom until you see T Tables.....change this to custom, and hit ENT

Scroll down to Table 04.......This corresponds to identifier "03-" that you got from Unitrunker.

You should see values pre-populated that should have been collected from the control channel when you were using P25 AUTO.

Lo Channel: (03*4096) + 0 = 12288
Hi Channel: (03*4096) + 4095 = 16383
Offset (same as low channel) = 12288
Base (from Unitrunker) = 400.0000
Step (spacing) = 6.25

If these are the values already populated in Table 4, your radio successfully downloaded the necessary portion of the table from the control channel.

If, for some odd reason the radio will not accept 400 mHz, try entering 406 mHz and change the offset value to 960

Let us know what you find out.
