Local help with programming, Ankeny Des Moines

This is probably a shot in the dark but I was wondering if there is anyone located in Ankeny or the metro that could assist me in re programming my uniden bcd396xt to the new p25, just to see what I pick up before I sell it. Ive been told this scanner will POSSIBLY be able to pick up polk county's update as long as one person in the talk group is still phase one. I lost my USB cable in the move as well as recently lost my job so the budget doesn't allow me to purchase a new cable or premium membership. If anyone has some free time and is willing to help I will return the good deed as soon as I'm able. Thanks and I appreciate your help.

Your going to most likely have an issue with poco now as they have transitioned to the new p25 system. The 396 didnt like the new 6.25khz 700mhz freqs. Your best bet is to use one of the rural 800mhz towers. Ankeny area i wound suggest the polk city tower.
