Well this should be interesting from a technology perspective! Just about all of the vendors and technologies will be needed in that center. I don't think a single vendor's console solution will fit the bill for everyone since they may not be full featured across CSSI or ISSI. Should be interesting to see how they do CAD there too.

Great to hear about the consolidation though - it will certainly help out all agencies involved when more call taker 'bandwidth' and inter-agency communications is required. Great facility (and view) for them to enjoy as well!

Evergreen?

Didn't Evergreen build a rather impressive center for most of the Mountain area Fire and EMS?

Next question: will they maintain the wide range of radio systems serving the different agencies, especially fire districts, or eventually try to 'shoehorn' them into some consolidated system?

After many delays, Jeffcom has finally started going live starting this week.

March 12, 2018:
March 13, 2018:
  • Jefferson County Sheriff's Office – Jeffco Dispatch, 06:22
    • Edgewater Police Department
    • Lakeside Police Department
    • Morrison Police Department
    • Mountain View Police Department
    • Pleasant View Fire Department
March 14, 2018:
Audio from RadioCapture.com.

Agencies not yet transitioned:
  • Arvada Fire Protection District
  • Arvada Police Department
  • Evergreen Fire Rescue
    • Elk Creek Fire Protection District
    • Genesee Fire Protection District
    • Golden Gate Fire Protection District
    • Highlands Rescue Team Ambulance District
    • Indian Hills Fire Protection District
    • Inter-Canyon Fire Protection District
    • North Fork Fire Protection District
  • Lakewood Police Department
  • Wheat Ridge Police Department

For law enforcement, part of the change is that the first digit of any unit identifies which agency that unit is with. Thanks to Steve2003 for helping with identifying them.

  1. Jefferson County Sheriff's Office
  2. Wheat Ridge Police Department
  3. Lakewood Police Department
  4. Arvada Police Department
  5. Lakeside Police Department
  6. Morrison Police Department
  7. Mountain View Police Department
  8. Edgewater Police Department
  9. Golden Police Department
    • 98. Colorado School of Mines Police Department

For fire department, there does not appear to be any major changes at this point. Note that the new CAD system is not connected to PulsePoint, so it will not display calls at the moment. It is unknown if Jeffcom will reestablish a connection to PulsePoint.

I'm seeing WMFR calls in Pulsepoint today, though the unit designations have changed. They're now just showing the unit (e.g. M10, E12) rather than the agency + unit (WMM10, WME12).

This was added this morning.

Arvada Police Department is now part of Jeffcom 911

The Arvada Police Department is now part of the Jeffcom Regional Dispatch. The center services eight agencies of Jefferson County and surrounding districts. Jeffcom 911 works with established fire, police and emergency medical service providers to dispatch appropriate emergency responders as efficiently as possible,

Audio from same place as the previous.

With that, Jeffcom is now fully operational with all user agencies having switched over.

There may have been renaming of some of the channels during the transition process, but pretty much everything is operating as it was before Jeffcom.
