John Gerstner

For all of you who knew John by his website, www.efscanner.com , I was just informed by his father, that John passed away last September. He had a long difficult battle with leukemia.

John was well respected by his peers and had a long standing good reputation in the amateur radio community. He will be missed.

As a frequent visitor to Florida, I made heavy use of John's site.

RIP John.

This is aweful news. John was at the forefront of this hobby as it moved into the internet age. His site still to this day is an amazing collection of everything from taxi's to space shuttle frequencies.

I have been on his page so many times over the years. I guess I will take some time to archive my own copy, as it will probably disappear eventually.
