I don't know a lot about aviation...

But I've noticed the last few nights that some flights departing from STL appear to be headed right over my house in Glen Carbon.

Looking at https://planefinder.net/ I can see them flying right over as they are departing.

Has the flight paths changed recently... any ideas?

Just wondering.

Thanks

Terry,

Check out the link below, specifically the Arrival and Departure procedures... they are constantly amended and flight paths may change.

AirNav: KSTL - Lambert-St Louis International Airport

Scroll down to "Instrument Procedures" and you will see Standard Terminal Arrivals, Instrument Approach Procedures and Departure Procedures. Every instrument approach, arrival and departure procedure is depicted there, but you will have to interpolate where you are in relation to those routes.

Look at Kansa City Air Port they cover more air space than Saint Louis. Kansa city has 3,000 something miles of airspace that even goes into part of Iowa.
