Warren Michigan PD & FD on Ohio Marcs-IP

I’m hearing Warren Michigan PD (TG-310) and FD (TG-108) on the Ohio Marcs-IP system? Warren is near Detroit.

You are probably hearing the Warren Public Safety Project 25 System.

The Warren System and MARCS-IP share these frequencies - 854.11250, 854.86250, 855.48750, & 856.03750.

Also those talk groups are in the Warren System data base linked above, and MARCS-IP talk groups don't go that low.

Make sure you are monitoring MARCS-IP as a trunked system and not listening to the frequencies conventionally.

Also, if you are using a Uniden HP, remove the non-control channels from any favorites lists. The HP may be grabbing onto the Control channel of Warren because it shares a frequency with one of the voice channels on the site(s) you are monitoring.
