PDV Radio System

Hello Everyone,

I need to find where the sites are in New Jersey for the PDV system, I tried doing a FCC
license search by name but came up with nothing and the vendor does not want to give
out the location he said its proprietary information.

My agency is looking at new ways of communications besides PSIC.

Search under the name PDV Spectrum Holding Company. They seem to operate in the 800/900 frequency ranges using MotoTRBO. They have a lot of licenses. Under each license lists locations.

I've been dissecting this system for a few weeks as best I can with SDR# and DSD+ as time permits. It is a TRBO Connect Plus system with numerous sites around the Philly area and south jersey on 900 MHz that are within my listening range. There are coverage maps on their website. Coverage in the Philly metro area is basically hugging the I-95 corridor. Out towards the shore there is little to no coverage yet. Users seem to be your average business users. Some interesting listening however from a TG used by some unscrupulous accident chasing tow truck drivers in Philly if you're into that. Numerous mentions of them thinking nobody can monitor them.

Guys,

Thanks for your input, I tried looking up in the FCC data base but not a tech is 100% correct there are
a lot of files to go through. I have a copy of the coverage map but I would have like to know where
the sites are sitting. We had a couple of loaner radios for the weekend with a lot of dead spots,
anyone that needs 100% within that map they show I would not recommend this system until
they have better coverage unless your sitting on top of a site.

Any that comes up with a list I be eager to see where the sites are in New Jersey.

It looks like only the 3rd and the 8th links in the list above from Mntbiker are part of the connect plus trunking system. The others are listed as conventional licenses.

I had twp demo radios to try out over the last week, great system if your near a site but again no so great in most of the area I was testing in. example when your outside in Bergen County, Hudson County and parts of Somerset County system works but many dead spots traveling and couldn't connect along rt 22 and route 78 from Newark to Bridgewater, radio spends a lot of time searching for sites. for the money not worth it it unless they build the system out further, thanks everyone for dis-spelling the proprietary site location claim I knew that was 1000% B.S. some of these radio vendor treat you like you know nothing about communications.

I told him about the weakness of the coverage on Rt 78 and
Rt 22 he assured me he was aware of it and they are working on the
issue.

Just found a VERY strong CC on 935.3625 MHz. DSD+ lists it as site 30. DCC=0

Neighbors are 21 22 24 25 28

I am located in Central Bucks County PA near Doylestown.
