Decided to trade in my dodge charger for a jeep patriot. Managed to squeeze my tm-d710ga and homepatrol into the vehicle. I'm still tidying up some wires and making some final adjustments. The weather here has not been cooperative to get outside and finish up the install.

Larsen dual band for the 710 and an antennex scanner antenna for the homepatrol. Once the weather warms up I will wash the patriot get the cables tidied up and post some more pictures.

Nice start I have a 2014 with a Yaesu FTM-400DR in it with a now hodge podge of Pro Clip USA bracket and RAM Mount phone holder because of how stupid Yaesu designed the head on this radio.

I have to update my thread a little more now this was back when I still had my TM-V71A in my Patriot.

How do you deal with the side mounting of electrical connections on HP1

How do you deal with the side mounting of electrical connections on the HP1. Most notably the GPS connection?

The gps is not used. The radio is only scanning the favorites list that has local programming in. The bracket is just a piece of metal I had.. I fastened the homepatrol mounting clip and the 710ga bracket to the piece of metal then attached the assembly to the lido mount.
