How to perm avoid channels (nationwide)

Is there a way to perm avoid certain DB channels/listings?

For instance, I can go in the favorite list and avoid whatever I want in the Uniden software, but I cannot go in and avoid subcategories from the nationwide listings. For instance, I can only avoid the railroads channels 100 and 300 series channels via the control panel, but nothing in the software.

In addition, I find no option on the scanner or elsewhere to make the avoids perm. Once you cycle the power, everything is back.

I believe the homepatrol offers the option to make them permeate, just not the 536.

Any help?

On the scanner, double-tap avoid to make it perm.

On the 536 if you hit the avoid button one time, it temporarily avoids until you recycle power.

If you press the avoid button 2 times in succession, it will permanently avoid.

I went into Nationwide on Sentinel and basically avoided all nationwide channels with no problem. I just now went into Sentinel and was able to avoid channels with no problem. Software glitch on your installation?
