So i am wondering if it is possible to connect our work radios to this system we use Vertex Standard ATM, we also work in a very dense highrise building in hamilton and have 2 repeaters currently in place, this does not seem to be good enough as there are many dead spots throughout; including our underground garage with 3 Levels, my question is, would connecting to fleetnet or a similar system be any better? or possible for that matter thanks

First of all - you can forget about FleetNet. Bell Mobility Radio (who operates it) doesn't allow any non public safety users on it whatsoever.

It depends what kind of radios they are. You might contact a local radio dealer to see if they have any options that would work for you.

In Hamilton, you might try Glentel (Hamilton | Two Way Radio Rentals)

is all your work in the one building/facility?

You should be using UHF if in a short range as UHF penetrates better in urban environments (for short distance only). VHF has better range and works with different terrain but that doesnt seem to be your issue...

If you have two repeaters are they at the one location? Sounds like you need a voting system with receivers at multiple floors with one transmitter up top with drop antenna to cover the entire building, or multi site trunking with tx/rx at different floors....ideally a voting solution uses only one repeater...kenwood nx710r can do voting and IP linked by ethernet...
