Has anyone setup or looked into steaming a 536HP via wifi to a Linux based solution? I have darkice running on a solid state Linux PC as well as a raspberry where I'm also running TTD. I'd like to stream my 536 via a Linux solution without using the analog audio jacks, and allowing me to use the volume dial for whatever I please to locally.

I don't think darkice can source audio from a rstp stream right? I'd probably have to use icecast at that point?

I'm speculating that those who are doing it today may be using a windows based solution. Is there any documentation walking through this?

Thanks!

You could probably use vlc or mplayer to source the stream from the scanner, and set the output to a virtual alsa soundcard entry, for which darkice could read from.
