I noticed this morning that the new RWC Simulcast A site is online. Here is some info:

Site 201
771.68125 control
771.79375 alt
772.04375 alt
772.18125 alt

Peer sites
101 Simulcast B
102 Simulcast C
204 Outlet Mall / New River IR
205 Simulcast F
301 Simulcast H
501 Simulcast G
503 Simulcast J

All that is currently active on this site is talkgroup 201 with testing audio reading an audio book.

All affiliations that I am logging are being denied, so it looks like they are purely testing at this point.

So far it's been pretty quiet but I have gotten a few hits on 2894 - PPD Info North, but naturally it was encrypted so it's now locked out. But I'll keep listening. I suspect the migrations will start en masse next week.

I attempted to listen to this from the east valley and got nothing? Are these new ones in fact co-located with Simul B sites?? Or are these for a specific area of Phoenix?

Thanks

Simulcast A & B transmitters are collocated on the same towers. If you can receive B, you should be able to receive A. See this post for the transmitter locations:

The control channel for the new Simulcast A is active, there are only a few test talkgroups being carried on it currently. Don't expect to hear much on Simulcast A right now.
