OK… This will be contentious. Get over it. Take it as constructive criticism.

From what I heard in today's first exercise... HAMs need to talk phonetic APCO in this region. And they need to talk clearly, calmer, and faster. Facts, not opinions.

You may find Western Washington hospitals on 443.550 they were active both Wednesday and Thursday, not sure if anything is going on later today. Most drills started at 9am

146.900 also but they stayed mostly in UHF

I was once "schooled" for using HAM instead of ham. Just passing on the word.

Personally, I just gave up trying to be politcally correct and making everybody happy and started calling it a bacon radio.

Only referring to an old NTIA listing, lots of traffic on older analog VHF and UHF, WA State freqs.

Look for more FEMA vehicles and Army/Air Guard vehicles movement.

Emergency response also has CERT and Red Cross involved.
