I was reading the web site for the show on June 25-26 and they say aircraft transceivers prohibited but personal electronics allowed, I sent an email asking about receive only scanners and was told No, (politely). No scanners allowed inside the fence line. Since they state they may be searching bags etc I didn't want any one caught making an innocent mistake. Just an FYI.

i had my scanner with me for the last show they had , didnt have a issue, guess i wont be going

I won't miss this line up over a scanner, I am going Saturday and parking early (730am) in the large parking field at the corner of Hwy 2 and RCAF Rd, I will kill time there till I can get in at 10am. I will walk around and see the displays then head back to my truck which is directly under flight path and sit in lawn chair in the box of truck with scanner and enjoy the show. That lot will fill very quick so an early arrival gets you a great view, park there and wander over to CTC and kill time there?

Technically, it states "trancievers", but not sure I'd gamble.
Also, is it Friday when all the static display / aerial display aircraft fly in? Would love to see the B52 coast in so I can get some photos.

That was my point to them in the email I sent..... Tranceiver vs receive only.... The answer was clear, "No"
I don't want to be the guy arguing with officials at the gate as I know who will lose. :-/

Anyone have any good air to air freq for the upcoming air show ?

These are what I am using based on gathered info from this site....
128.700 tower
128.400 terminal
272.100 snowbirds
246.500 snowbirds
242.600 snowbirds
116.000 snowbirds
123.600 snowbirds
118.000 snowbirds
119.000 snowbirds
117.000 snowbirds
119.200 snowbirds
123.100 snowbirds
146.500 snowbirds
149.150 base ops
122.350 base ops
232.100 tiger Sar ops
121.900 ground
135.450 atis (locked out)
127.950 base ops

These are what I have plugged in, today most comms were terminal (arriving) tower and 272.1 along with 127.950. Show may vary a bit but that's my 2 cents. Will be there tomorrow again so will add some if found.
