Recently programmed Pro-96 via RR database dl and I have yet to hear anything on the Cary Fire or Mutual Aid on their Project 25 ....I know PD is encrypted .....
I seem to recall reading somewhere in a google search last night that indicated that Pro-96 will not decode P25 properly because it can not go into P25 auto mode. The article stated that one would hear at best 25% of the voice traffic due to this flaw in the Pro-96.

Anyway searching for facts feedback appreciated.....Cary Project 25 not working for me with the Pro-96 so far.........

Hey Sam.....
Let me see if I can find out where I have placed my 96 and give it a try.
I have not used it in months so I gotta figure out where it is around my place. :)
Will report back with findings.

Heyo Sam.....
I did not forget about ya I just had other projects come up at work and elsewhere....
If you are talking about programming just the control channels from the link below here is the list of CCs from an actual subscriber radio:

I have gone through and made sure the RR database matches the above.
I finally found my Pro96 last night and plan on giving it a go on the Cary System once I get home today.

Marshall thank for update RR. That was not my problem........I have FIXED the issue and now I can't help but wonder if you are gonna have the same issue.
No matter what data I was inputting ....one thing kept bringing me to ground zero ....the fact that when I tune to 856.66250 I get no meter displayed on my screen indicating any percentage of decode. This is the main data channel for Cary and it is 2.9 miles away from me... I knew that if I can't decode that then nothing else matters.....so I wondered if the unit is off frequency and sure enough it was. When I tuned 625khz up to 856.66875 ...BAM!!! I was able to hear the data channel loud and clear.....the percentage of decode was indicating 90%....so I put that in as the control channel ...uploaded it to the scanner but still was not hearing any conversations......the radio would stop on a talk group but all I would hear is the trunking sound one hears instead of voice ...not even garbled voice.........
I found info that stated that VR4 is where the adjustment needs to be made to bring the scanner back to reference.
I removed the cover...plugged in the power cord.....I put a dab of black marker on VR4 to mark where it is now....I then tuned to 856.66250 and turned VR4 approximately 1/8th of a turn and I checked and saw that the display was indicating 99% decode!!!

I put it all back together.....locked out all the backup CC and made 856.6625 the only active CC and bam !!!! I am hearing Cary FD and all that I was hearing on K4JDR's scanner feed.

Very happy camper at this moment. When you get your Pro-96 loaded...I wonder what percent of decode you will get on 856.66250....if yours is off I know how to adjust it :)

Some pics showing what happened....

Please note...the following thread pointed me in the right direction....
http://forums.radioreference.com/radio-shack-scanners/269559-pro-96-adjust-tc1.html

I am attaching some pics of my experience.....one of the pics shows the adjustment I made ...you can see the reference black dot and the dot on the dial and how far I adjusted it from the reference dot...
Another pic shows how I had to tune in 625khz from the correct frequency in order to decode Cary's data channel which is on 856.66250 ...but I received it on 856.68750....
...another pic shows the cover removed and the location from afar of VR4......

....the last pic is the picture of my experience after adjusted VR4 and how now when I tune to 856.66250 what my experience is........before I did the adjustment...when I tuned to 856.66250 nothing was displayed...the percentage of decode did not show on screen and I barely heard data...
