I would like to see a quick way to hold on a specific service tag. For example if I program a few neighboring departments as custom 2, it would be nice to be able to quickly do a hold on custom 2 vs unselecting all other service types.

You can. You can put all your Custom2 channels/talkgroups etc in a FL of their own.

Better yet - put them in a Department of their own and use the DEPT button to hold them. You can even duplicate some channels across multiple Departments. Quick and easy.

Thank you, Its a 436 and 536, the break down I use is:

Favorite List-State
System-County
Department- Each Municipality
Channel- Respective channel in each municipality

custom 1-always want to hear
custom 2-neighboring FD
custom 3-neighboring PD
custom 7 (off)-always locked out
custom 8 (off)-encrypted
then the respective discipline "fire dispatch" etc, are ones I sometimes listen to but dont care too much about.

This makes it very easy to navigate under 90% of the circumstances, the other 10% are handled well by using the tags.

It would just be nice to be able just hold on a channel tag and scan only them vs having to go into the service menu, unselect all but custom 1, then re select them after.
