Just purchased a bct15x and have NO IDEA of what I'm doing! Looking for someone in the Melbourne Beach area in Florida to assist me in understanding how to program. Would really like someone to do the programing for me!

I would recommend downloading and installing FreeSCAN to program your bct15x.

It's the only way I would even think of programming mine.

If you were to send me a private message, when you're capable of doing so (which I think is after 4 posts), I could email you step by step instructions on programming Conventional Analog Systems.
I don't use Trunking at all here so I am no help there....

I also have made up a document to help folks better understand using the FreeScan software.

Lemme know.

The front connector is semi-proprietary (not really proprietary, but not common either).

Or you can use the DB-9 on the rear with a null modem adapter which will allow you to do anything except update the firmware.

Your scanner should have come with the front cable.
