Mototrbo is the Motorola brand name for DMR, it doesn't always play nice with generic brands.
Sorry can't help you as I only have RS models. But I'm sure if you ask on the Uniden forum they'll be able to help.
"MotoTRBO" means "It costs more.".
read the users manual, its amazing what you'll learn from that.
The DMR upgrade is still in the "beta" mode. You can read more at the site listed below:

You can also get the upgrade from Uniden as you'll see in the link and how to perform the upgrade.
With this being something new, it won't be found in the users manual.

The user manual is useless for anyone other than a rocket scientist. I am struggling with the DMR side of things too now i have the official update
