Hi All; Have just been programming my BCD996P2 and have had success with most of the agencies I want to scan. The one I can't get is Arvada PD. I have the Arvada Site 21-021 programmed and am having no trouble with Arvada Fire channels on the same site. The PD dispatch channel (TGID 38048) is silent. I do occasionally hear communication on the Arvada PD Records frequency but it is few and far between. Does anyone happen to know if they have encrypted? Could that be the problem?

Thanks for any help

Just over a year ago they went encrypted, unfortunately.

Is it possible to make a note of this in the database?

Are there any other agencies that have gone encrypted around the metro area recently?

The DB already reflects the TG's are encrypted.

Westminster and Aurora PDs have gone encrypted as well. I believe that Denver is going to have a P25 system at some point in the near future, but I don't know anything about possible plans to encrypt. I'm sure someone on here with more time and insight can give you more info.

So sad that the agencies feel the need to encrypt their regular dispatch channels.
