21540: I believe this is going to be District 58, Ohio County Sheriff dispatch.

21311: Sounds like INDOT. Last heard in southern ripley county/NW Switzerland Co. Unit id 2 digit prefix is 94.

21156: Unknown. 1st 2 digits of unit id is 93, which is also what D42 ISP unit id's also start with.

Additionally, I've noticed the first 2 digits of the unit Id's correspond to the county district #. ISP doesn't appear to follow a similar pattern..

Compare them to the ones listed in the DB. If they are different, and you are pretty sure its the final product of the system, sub it. :)

A couple more for the list:

21159: I think this is District 9 State Parks, not enforcement.

21307: Sounds like INDOT.

Still monitoring to confirm the above before submitting anything to the database.

Ok, I'll be submitting the following talkgroups to be added to the database. I'm pretty confident on their accuracy.

21156 DNR South Dispatch

21159 DNR District 9 Parks

21540 (58) Ohio County Sheriff Dispatch

21544 (58) Ohio County Fire Dispatch

The next ones were heard on the Madison site(2-31), I'm not certain on them so I'll hold off on submitting these.

21289 and 21296 These appear to be related to the Madison State Hospital or Department of Corrections.

All of these sound like INDOT, just not sure how to figure out which district, substation, etc. I heard them all on the Henryville tower.:

I am also getting TG 21307 on The St. Leon, Guilford and Lawrenceburg Sites this morning. Definitely sounds like INDOT as there were discussing flaggers, paving and traffic flow.

Do the new P25 sites (towers) have the same coverage area as the old sites? I noticed some of the new sites don't say 30 miles like the old sites.

Doesn't it depend to on how much power is being used at each site? ... I have noticed IN's system is showing 100 watts of power on their licenses, which should provide pretty good coverage if the towers are transmitting at this level.... I believe IL only uses 25 watts of power on their state system, so I'm interest in seeing how the range is compared to IL's system which is not very good considering the low power setting they use.

Yes range is dependent on power, free space path loss and other factors.
The GTR 8000 repeaters I've been working with have around 110 watts, about 75 coming from the duplexer.

I don't know what xmtrs SAFE-T is using but I suspect they are replacing Quantars with GTRs.

Our testing has shown up to 40% increase in range in VHF using Hytera DMR radios over analog.
We did a brief P-25 phase 1 vs analog VHF test and found no difference, but we were in a hilly region, didn't have time to do an open range test.

I think the old 30 miles was a little on the "hopeful" side. Not many of the sites down in my area will reach 30 miles, some won't make the 15. This was the case on the old system and appears to be about the same on the new one.

One other thing, the range on some of the departments (Jennings & Jefferson counties) maybe others, has been changed in the database for p25. All other departments are 165 miles, those two are 15. I can't remember if there are any others like that. The corrections were submitted to the admins.

I will populate INDOT and some others tomorrow. Glad to see that not much changed from the original template.

When selecting system type on the new state P25, do you select P25 standard or P25 X2 TDMA? Thanks

P25 Standard. There is no X-2 anymore. X-2 was made before APCO set the Phase II TDMA standards. X-2 is no longer manufactured, but still has limited support for a few years for the systems that still use it.
