Where is the best place to purchase a Uniden 436HP? looking for a good deal with a full factory warranty and someone that will stand behind the purchase after the sale?

Good luck when it comes in we have seen several used (not even 536 or 436) in new boxes the customer had to wait for their scanner or money returned. Here are 2 of several post look at the pictures.

I got a 536 in 2014 and 436 in 2015 from Amazon. No problems other than I had to send the 536 in for new LED display lights under the repair campaign.
No issue with Amazon at all. I have also purchased a couple HP2 radios, 996p2 and 325p2 through Amazon without issue.
Just because a couple folks had problems and posted here does not mean that 99% of people had no problems and didn't post.
I think even in these cases, Amazon made good from my memory.

That is true but in both cases as I stated they had to wait for scanner or refund it was just a warning to be careful.
I would rather pay a little more and know what I am getting! I buy all my scanners from Jeff.

But it was very quickly made right by Amazon. If you want to support small mom and pop shops then good on you. But a high price on an already high ticket item is a tough pill to swallow for some people.
You never have to worry about Amazon making it right.....
I ordered a Nikon D810A astrophotography body for my husband and when we received it we found that UPS had somehow managed to completely destroy it in transit.
Husband was leaving the next day for a three month business trip. I called Amazon, explained the situation, they went above and beyond, they shipped a replacement via UPS Next Day Air early morning delivery at no additional cost to ensure he received it before he left, sent a return label and did not require any further deposit or credit card authorization.
We are talking about a $3800.00 item so there is no reason to believe they will handle a $500.00 scanner differently.
