BCD436HP/BCD536HP: Why no New Style Cases for Newer Radios?

Peeped a post in the Whistler forums,, They introduced a modern styled case for the 800/trx series..resembles the 2 piece cell phone style protective cases..
I have a Baofeng,,it came with a lil cheapy Silicone case,,but it works great..


so..Uniden..

the 396 series and now the 436 series could really use some modern protection..the classic
leather/vinyl/cloth cases are nice, but to me, and maybe others they are just not that attractive...
yes..I suppose im petty like that ;-)
considering that im about1100$ in on my 2 436's( with the ProV & DMR)..some sexy protection for them would be

I agree and a screen protection film would be nice without having to custom cut one

Bee electronics makes high quality leather and ballistic nylon cases for public safety radios and a few scanner models, but also some custom stuff too. :wink: 73, n9zas

Custom..That would be keen if it could be nice n silicon-ey...Wish I
was savvy enough to figure out molding..Maybe order an extra empty case...
then dip it in rubber like 15-25 times to get 2-4mm of thickness..then use an
exacto...to...Ugh...who am I kidding..Ill never do all that...

Checked out Bee...Interesting..Wish I had the $$$ to ket like 4-500 made..
