yellow battery holder

can't seem to get batteries in right need diagram picture for each side so scanner will work.

At the risk of sounding sarcastic, which seems to be frowned upon on this site, if you look inside of the battery holder, there is a diagram for each of the slots with a (+) sign to put the batteries in the correct direction.

I am not seeing that are the ends with sprins pos or neg also fflat end on bater neg or pos

Just looked at mine and Yup, has a Plus and a Minus within the indented circles

Usually the springs go toward the flat side of the battery.

Standard configuration the springs are all marked - (neg) on mine. If you really have no markings it may have been a clone holder or maybe for something else? Should have the sticker on the end saying it is only for rechargeables.
