Lake County EMS Medics dispatch question

Hi All,

I am not hearing Lake EMS medics being dispatched on either the PS1 talk group or the VHF simulcast of that group. Seems that that talk group dispatches LCFR units only. Before the trunked system, Lake EMS was dispatched on a UHF channel separate from Fire-Rescue. Does anyone know if the Medics are dispatched on another talk group and if that group is encrypted.

My apologies. My reception was so bad that I thought LEMS was not dispatched on PS-1. Took a ride closer are both LCFR and LEMS are dispatched on the same talkgroup. Sorry for the post.

Lake EMS operate on the 700/800 system. UHF has not been in daily use in many years now, except for mutual aid.

The Lake Co. EMS dispatch on Med 9 has not been used for a few years. Fire EMS dispatch is simulcast on 154.385.
