Old stuff? Yes! I'm actually looking for some old frequency listings for Marion County, pre-MECA, late '80s time period, back when IPD was still UHF and the sheriff was VHF. I'm sure someone on here has an old copy of Radio Shack Police Call 1988 edition laying around. I'm mainly just interested to see how things were laid out before everybody went to 800.

Thanks in advance.

MILF and others, The city of Indianapolis and Marion County do have some of these frequencies still in use. like 154.280.I have these old freqs in a analog scanner in the communications center and do hear some radio traffic on them. 460.050 and 460.025 have been given to IPS to use for there PD. Also most of the old radio equipment for VHF and UHF are in storage at IDPS (aka MECA) according the a very trusted source from within.

IPS PD is pure TRS. They have a few of the old UHF HTs in storage, but they most likely will gather dust forever.

MILF Remember when IPD had 453.300 UHF??? INDOT was on 453.500. The 453.300 was very active. Also Marion County Jail was on 453.650. They did have a repeater at the jail for this frequency. Good time to keep analog scanner available set up on old frequencies. "You never know what you are going to hear" I keep two running all the time."

Also 154.010 was and still is Hamilton County Fire and 154.250 is Boone County Fire. 155.130 was Plan A , 154.890 was Plan A car to base. 155.370 was State Police Point to Point, 42.42 was ISP base (Statewide) 42.260 was ISP Car to 42.420, 42.120 was ISP was ISP F3 and 42.160 was ISP F4. 154.815 was Hendricks County Sheriff/Lake County Sheriff Repeater, 155.700 was Speedway Police. Brownsburg Police was on 155.535 and Brownsburg Fire was on 154.415 Zionsville Fire on 154.400/Anderson Fire. When growing up in my parents house we had a Regency 16 Ch scanner running 24/7/365.We also had friends that were deputies from Marion County Sheriff and Troopers from State Police that would stop to visit with our family. Those were the good old days from the 70's-80's

I have a few Wordstar files from the early 90s. I'm trying to "translate" to Word.(I thought ASCII was ASCII, not quite.) Could 460.025 have been know as David channel? And maybe 460.400 as Charles?

Can anybody provide actual pics or scans of pages of old Police Call listings (pre-800 MHz)? Would be interesting. I'm not looking for stuff currently listed in the RR database.
