Hi,

I was wondering if there is an easy way to quickly overwrite the setting "ID search: OFF" by "ID search: ON" globally when scanning the database.

The only way found was to copy a given system (add to favorite list) and then by editing the favorite list to change the ID search from OFF to ON. It is not very convenient because it needs to be done for all targeted systems.

It would be useful to have the possibility to enable ID search globally for the database scanning.

Any idea or better way? Thanks.

I don't believe so.

The theory, I'm presuming is this. Using the zipcode/full database combination is targeted toward the very basic user. They want to hear stuff with a minimum of programming. They may be uncomfortable with programming or simply want a "plug and play" thing.

Searching for new "stuff" is something that is a little more advanced.

Taking a little farther, when that advanced user discovers something new, it should be submitted for inclusion in the database. Then when the elementary user does an update, the new data is present for use.
