I just noticed that the Johns Hopkins University radio system has been further documented in the Baltimore City section. The way that it is written in the database "suggests" that one of their frequencies is somehow patched to BPD Northern District? Is that correct?

Yes, BPD Northern comes over group 40 on any frequency where group 40 is listed. I believe they're using MOTOTRBO IP Site Connect.

I can confirm that JHU security units at the Homewood campus actively monitor or scan this patch. Which is nice because they typically show up very quickly to any police/medic call that is on or close to the campus. Many of them are retired BPD and do a pretty good job of handling tense calls.
