Did anyone happen to close call/capture the frequencies in use at the Rose Bowl this past weekend for the UCLA football game? If so, can you post the channels/frequencies that you captured in use?

Thanks!

No idea what was happening inside the event, but from the distance I heard Pasadena PD active on their old analog UHF frequencies for traffic control.

I'll try and get tickets for the next game and bring my SDR and see what I can find

I have info that the whole Rose Parade and Rose Bowl is going to be running on the new LA-RICS trunked system this year for the sheriff's dept. On a side note there are a substantial amount of new talk groups that have popped up recently... both clear and encrypted.

Rose Bowl MotoTRBO frequencies/info from Oct 1, 2016

I went to the UCLA football game last night. Before the game I set my 436HP to search between 460-470mhz and I discovered and heard a lot of radio traffic on a DMR system. I don't know much about how to interpret or determine what is what, but here is the info I found:

464.725
CC 8
Slot 2
TG 57: talking about how many seats left in north end zone
TG 57: Reporting gate C crowd issues

464.4625
CC 6
Slot 1
TG 102: Talking about seating in the stands

463.25
CC 6
Slot 1

463.25
CC 6
Slots 1 and 2
TG11: wants light tower
TG15: Game management talking about whether the air horn was heard inside the stadium
TG 11: Calling western exterminator for bees in a tree near fans tailgating

463.7
CC 4
Slot 1
TG1: Talking about parking lot 3 parking situation

464.8375
CC 6
Slot 2 and 1
CSC Security Bike Patrol
TG 104: Talking about the security administration office
TG 103: Update on the line at the gate

464.05
CC 6
Slot 1
TG 19: Parking lot patrol

463.6625
CC 6
Slot 1 and 2
TG 13: talking about housekeeping
TG 12: talking about parking lot security

Hopefully someone can make sense of this information so that the Rose Bowl system can start being mapped out for the database....

Thank you

Thanks for the observations.

Looking at license some of frequencies belong to Bearcom license WQVB769 at 1001 Rose Bowl Drive.
463.2500
463.6625
464.0500
464.0625
464.4625
464.8375

463.7 is licensed to AAA Traffic Management also with address of 1001 Rose Bowl Drive.

Not sure about 464.725

The Bearcom license is for trunked system, so would need someone to verify further and also help provide the appropriate LCNs orders while confirming the type of system.

Great job sleuthing that. 464.725 was the one that I heard the UCLA folks on, most others were traffic, security, and parking lots. I don't have the ability to get the LCN info, unfortunately. The system was obviously in heavy use last night...

Is it possible for me to program my 436hp with the info from the Bearcom license, and determine the LCN and such from being at the game, or does it require a computer and special software? If it can be done, I can bring the scanner to the next game but I am not sure how to set up a system for MOTOTRBO so that I can search and find the LCN and such, in order to submit the data...

Rose Bowl UCLA Football 2018 Frequencies

Here is what I monitored last Saturday...still have not been able to listen to the game operations/entertainment radios...can't seem to find their frequency. I know it is UHF. I also did not hear any EMS traffic on FDUMA (Verdugo)...not sure what happened to the Fire/EMS resources channel FDUMA that was used in previous years.

464.8375 CC2 S2
463.25 CC6 S1
464.4625 CC6 S1 (SECURITY)
463.6625 CC6 S2 (TRASH SERVICES ON FIELD)
463.25 CC6 S2 (SECURITY SUPERVISORS)
463.6625 CC6 S1 (CUSTODIANS)
464.46 CC6 S1 (LUXURY SUITE MAINTENANCE)
464.775 CC3 S1 (FOOD SERVICE)
456.8 (DCS115) : CAMERA SET UP END ZONE
464.835 CC6 S2: (CSC SECURITY)
482.5375: PASADENA PD COMMAND POST

I have confirmed the following at the Rose Bowl:

Pasadena PD Channels 3 and 4 are used as Traffic and Command Post
ICIS Pasadena Cell: Medical Teams are on Red 7, Inspectors/Fire units are on Red 6, Incident Command Post is on Red 15. FDUMA is not used any longer.

There is multiple DMR channels in use for CSC security, concessions, etc... I am going tonight and am going to try to sniff things out a little better. I really want to be able to listen in to the UCLA channels for thing such as on field entertainment, marketing, etc... but made the mistake of trying to listen on Close Call, which doesn't work well in this system. I am going to scan between 460-470Mhz tonight on a SDS100 and see what I find.
