Out of band plan for TRX-1

A few days ago I tried entering a frequency of 155.1125 for a local PD with the iScan software, but the software would not accept it, saying it was "out of band plan". Sentinel (for the Uniden BCD536HP) has no problem accepting that frequency. I had to enter the frequency as 155.1150 for iScan to accept it. Bug fix item?

Enable "Flex Step" and see if that fixes it.

Yep that fixed it. Wendy should remind folks of this option in her Wednesday tips sometime, along with some other 'General Settings' that folks may overlook.

You would not be the first one tripped up by Flex Step by far...that goes back well into the GRE era.

When I get a new scanner I first go thru all settings and if one isn't obvious to me I do a search in the pdf manual. If that doesn't help I ask support (rarely get an answer) or in a forum to access the knowledge from a wide scanner community.
