IGATE DOWN

I had a Igate up for about 2 years now. The other day it just stop working. I checked all the setup screen I had made screen shot of them when I set it up. On the igate traffic window it shows that I am get traffic from rf to the internet. But the icon is not on the map and the tracker goes to a digipeater that 40 miles away when the igate is less than a mile. Had never had this problem before rebooted computer and radio several times

Have you checked your port to ip server on UI-View settings you may show you are connected to the server to it self but are you porting to it,if you not the little icon will not show up on the aprs.fi map and you are not you want pick up any aprs beacon tracks ether......

Well it started working on it own. Don't know what happen to it.

Thats good to hear some time UI-View does weird things sometimes it freezes my computer and i have to reboot it i have an I-Gate here in Brownsville,Texas (kb5zcs) and mobile (kb5zcs-9) good luck......

Do you know about how much data your IGATE uses per month?

No not really,i dont think its very much.....

I dont think it would use a lot of data,but would depend on how much traffic you process....
