Been monitoring the Town of Oakville MotoTRBO system the last couple days and have noticed some changes and possibly even some abnormalities. Firstly, talkgroups 11, and 13 have not been active whatsoever. Talkgroup 12 has been active and is indeed Care - A- Van.
Secondly, I have noticed talk groups 101, 102, and 104 pop up and are defiantly transit related operations. From what I've been hearing on 101 and 102 are units talking with control. 104 sounds like supervisors I've heard specifics like "meet with unit xxxx at Bronte GO." Maybe 101 and 102 are channels 1 and 2?. On top of that, Talkgroup 15 popped up and the driver of a care - a - van was talking with a supervisor. So one could assume this would be care - a - van supervisors?
Thirdly, Talkgroup 44 also popped up and like 101,102, and 104, are not in the database. There were two guys talking about vehicles parked in front of driveways and things along those lines and that they would have a look. I find this confusing because last time I checked, Oakville bylaw was on Halton P25 system unless they have migrated?
I don't monitor the system often and found this discovery interesting.
Hopefully I can pinpoint some more users
