Question

I am new to the scanning world, and just got an WS1040. I would like to program it to listen to public service in my area, but when I connect it to my computer, my computer does not recognize it or the cable that connects it to the computer. When I open device manager it says that the drivers are not installed, but I cannot find the drivers that I need.

I'm assuming you're using a ftdi chip based cable Virtual COM Port Drivers
