Classified ad in today's Anderson Independent:

The City of Anderson Public Works Division is requesting bids from qualified vendors for the purchase of thirty-two (32) MOTOTRBO digital two-way radios. Work will also include the re-programming of sixty (60) existing handheld and mobile two-way radios to a new 8-channel digital radio system. Bids will be accepted until 1:00 PM, Friday, May 5, 2017. Solicitation packages may be obtained by contacting Adam Cromer by email at adcromer@cityofandersonsc.com.

That is interesting. They had analog on a couple of 800 Mhz repeaters prior to this. I didn't see any new frequencies on the FCC license website for the city. The county does have a license for 450-460 Mhz frequencies but these are noted as 4K00F1D and 4K00F2D meaning possibly Nexedge.

Just found it as a modification of the WNPP664 license. Adding two more repeater frequencies on the current 800 mhz license among other things. I guess a cheap DMR UHF or VHF walkie talkie won't monitor this system.
