My old Pro-96 has to be retired. I'm just wondering if the WS1040 will pick up London Fire and OPP? Also how old is this radio I can't seem to find info because maybe it's a re branded Radio Shack or something? I'm so confused.

And to answer your question, looking at the database, yes to both.

Looking at the database it would appear that both London Fire and the OPP use P25 Phase I which you would be able to receive using the WS1040. The WS1040 is essentially a Whistler branded GRE PSR-500 / Radio Shack Pro-106/651

I got my scanner. I used Win500 to program OPP and London Fire. I have a question now tho. Is OPP always this quite or did I program it wrong? Maybe someone could send me a file with how the OPP and London Fire are programmed on theirs?
