Testing heard on new Whitfield County sites

I have heard testing all day today on the new sites in Whitfield County. The Control Channel appears to be 856.5625. It shouldn't be long now before we start hearing lots of new activity. It is rumored that they will make the switch over on July 1st. They now show 4 tower locations in Whitfield for WQXG815 under pending application.

System ID 2Ah5-002, site 052.
It's the TACN site 52.
Also picking up units in surrounding counties, coverage into Calhoun, GA.

Dalton/Whitfield County goes dark.

Dalton & Whtifield County agencies are now on the system. All public safety is encrypted, general government agencies in the clear.
So, when taxpayers voted for the SPLOST to fund this $17-million system, they essentially voted to use their tax dollars to remove government transparency by funding a system that keeps public services operating in secret. Did the voters know that at the time they were sold on this?
Talk groups in the 12,000 range are Dalton/Whitfield, and they are coming through on other nearby TACN sites. BTW, this system is site #2-52 on TACN.
