uniden 536HP - use in europe - W...T...[bleep]!?

Hi all .

Loaded up my mil air favourites from my bct15x.
I have less than 2000 favourites in total.
I have database deselected . I have search with store deselected....

I get the disgraceful message attached in the photo.

Upman - please justify this ridiculous design **** up!

It uses a 4GB SD card for heavens sake! Flagship ? Sinking ship more like!

Favorite lists have a size limit of 1MB. You will need to split the one(s) that exceed the size limit into multiple favorite lists.

Correct. The SD card capacity has nothing to do with the Favorite list size limits. I wish the size limit was higher however

Load the favourites list that follow it which most definitely aren't?

Futhermore - the text file of the list data is about 8K on the desktop - how in gods name
Has 8K of text become expanded into a file of > 1MByte ???

I sincerely hope you're both right - but presently (not home right now) I suspect that the total
Favourites list (not just the one list) cannot excede 1MB - and if so - that's an EPIC fail in a radio
Of this price point.

The 1MB limit is not a total of all favorites lists.

You can have a total of 256 favorites lists programmed into your scanner, but the individual size limit for each list is 1 MB.

You can view the size of Favorite Lists in Sentinel. Under the Edit menu, select Edit Profile. In the Scan Selection tab, there is a column on the far right for File Size.

I have a favourite list for all unused frequencies in VHF & UHF military airbands.
It has over 6000 entries, grouped by MHz.
File size is 552 kB.
Maybe most/all of your channels have long names (most of mine are just the frequency).
