Point Beach recently got FCC approval for 5 or 6 450 MHz frequencies. I programmed them in and think I heard DMR today on one of them. I do not have DMR on my 325 in my car. Can someone close to point Beach program the new frequencies in and see what's what? Thanks!

If I looked at the correct liccense, they licensed P25 and Analog

New Point Beach UHF Frequencies

Here are the new 6 453.xxxx frequencies (Repeater Output)for this agency.
Emissions as posted previously are for NFM and digital P25.

POINT PLEASANT BEACH, BOROUGH OF License: WQZP892

1 453.31250
2 453.41250
3 453.48750
4 453.56250
5 453.61250
6 453.85000

IMHO they may be replacing their current 476-477 frequencies with thease due DTV interference from NY/PHILLY on the 477 frequencies?
However, I would also assume they will carry over "encryption" for their Police Channels.

I am getting activity on 453.850. Unsure if I am too far in TR to decode the P25, or if it is DMR? Maybe it is a far away town giving me interference. Either way, I am hearing digital noise on 453.850.

453.850 is also licensed to Long Beach Township Police for DMR. I wouldn't expect to hear anything on those new frequencies until the buildout deadline is met and programming is done.

Yeah, I am probably getting LBI interference.
Now I feel silly for not cross-checking the DB myself.
*moving on*
