Linn County Sheriff is now using the 700MHz system for routine dispatch where they have coverage and are linking to VHF for areas of eastern Linn County that don't have coverage. Basically what Benton County is doing...using 700 where they can and linking to Prairie Peak for SW Benton County.

LCSO has replaced their Cougar Rock and Halls Ridge repeaters. Both are linked to TG 22001 full time.

155.7900 343 DCS Sheriff Dispatch - Cougar Rock
155.5725 306 DCS Sheriff Dispatch - Halls Ridge

154.7100 151.4 PL is now just Knox Butte and Scott Mtn but will most likely only be used if they can't get out on 700. Benton County's other VHF repeaters besides Prairie Peak are rarely used now.

So do they still use PL tone down in the valley?

HooDoo, Cougar Rock and Halls Ridge seem to be linked. Are they linked down into the valley then?

Thanks mucho! :)

Yes the use PL listed in DB. The Scott Mountain and Knox Butte repeaters are not linked. LCSO is using the SW 7 P25 system in the valley. The non valley vhf repeaters are linked to the dispatch talkgroup on the trunked system.

Thanks for the update. I figured they must be as there's been a lot of traffic on HooDoo. Didn't think they would be that busy up there. ;)
