Hello folks.
I was over in Grant County (John Day area) for six days for the eclipse. I had all the local frequencies in my scanner, including most everything for the neighboring counties. I heard a ton of radio traffic over there from the nearby counties during the event, but not a peep from the Grant County Sheriff. I did hear traffic on one of the Grant Co. Fire tacs, but that was it for Grant. OSP, Malheur National Forest, Crook County, Baker County, Wheeler County, Harney County, were all very active. (I was up at elevation in the Strawberry Mountains). So I suspect Grant SO has either gone digital or is using a new frequency or system of some sort. Anyone have any intel on this?
Thanks for the help!
