I can't post in the Tavern so I have no choice but to ask here. I see these live feeds from boats and what have you in Texas, but I have to wonder how that feed is provided. Is it satellite or terrestrial? Satellite sounds the most logical, but what kind of antenna are they using? I was under the impression that you had to point your antenna or dish towards the satellite you are communicating with. Yet, these reports are in SUVs and boats and yet still can do a live broadcast. So that part of me thinks it's terrestrial being feed to a local affiliate.
If it is terrestrial I imagine it would be microwave? Thus this is pretty much out of the hands of grabbing out of the air?
