I'd be interesting in anymore frequencies involved in the fire. I've been hearing some traffic from the Department of Forestry frequencies, mainly eyes on reports of fire spreading.
I just moved to Milwaukie from Salem and trying to find the fire freq, can someone tell me what BOEC is? I think I found the Multnomah Fire Ops 8 but not sure which "Multnomah County Tac 2"
bonus if anyone has a nice ready made Pro-107 file
BOEC is the City of Portland's Bureau of Emergency Communications. They handle 911 calls and dispatching. It is also used to refer to these radio systems that they use:
Oregon State Fire Marshal 154.280 State Fire Net Command channel, task forces and strike teams.
153.8975 OSFM Ops Ch A , 151.1675 Ops Ch B , 151.1375 CH C (VFtac 11) , 154.4525 CH D (VTac 12), 154.4750 OPEN for LE/LEO or evacuations.
"Columbia Dispatch" out of the Vancouver ECC uses MHF 169.9500, 169.9250, 170.500 are the usual Forest primary channels on the Hood. I heard WA-DNR in Skamania using 169.950 to talk to Columbia Dispatch Monday evening at the height of the Eagle Creek Fire.
