The heap error just means that a talkgroup has been entered that is not associated to a system.

Deleting that talkgroup, or just resetting and clearing all programming will fix that.

Tricks

Thanks team !

I finally got it

always pays to read the manual quite thoroughly

I know this is rather odd, but I always assign "01" to all loaded talk groups to avoid this. I never use 01 unless I have mapped a new system wrong or missed one entirely.

If you have Win500, you can look at "all objects" to see if they are any detached talk groups.

Heap error again

I am getting the heap error and am trying to download from scanner

which win500 says "timed out"

the scanner is still receiving my local p25 system fine any way I can reset without doing a factory reset deleting all data?

Thanks

I don't want to insult anyone; just trying to help. Can I ask what type of a system you are programming that gets the heap error?

Check this link for resets:
