Does anybody here have both a dash cam and mobile radio/scanner setup? I do and I have problems.

I have a Uniden DC40GT dash camera in a '15 Legacy. I got the Uniden because I thought if their dash cams are anything like their radios, I shouldn't have a problems. Well, I spoke too soon. Ironically, this unit causes hardcore attenuation on VHF to the point that I can't even hear my local repeater under some circumstances. The closer I get to the unit, the worse it gets. When I turn it off, voila, no problemo. I call it attenuation because with open squelch, I do not hear any noise. But when receiving a signal, it gets weak and staticy.

Does anybody else have this unit?

I'd like to hear what kind of dash cam you have and if it causes any kind of RF interference.

Here's a video showing the interference. https://youtu.be/8bNfR673jrU?t=3m31s

It's probably not the cam itself, but the power plug for it, especially if the cam runs on USB. Cheap 12V-5V converters generate a lot of RFI.
